Haw Par Villa was established by the Aw brothers, Boon Haw and Boon Par, with the fortune they made from Tiger Balm, their camphor and menthol remedy. The park’s design is lifted from Chinese legends and myths, and boasts some 1000 statues and tablets, including its star attraction – the Ten Courts of Hell.

From the same folks who brought you Lola’s Café, On the Table is another popular creation; this time situated along Pasir Panjang Road. Try their fluffy and creamy scrambled eggs, or their mouth-watering truffle cream pasta, but their honey wings – lightly glazed, crisp, yet moist and tender – takes the cake.
