Car booking user interface upgraded
Members can now enjoy a faster, more user friendly experience when booking a car online. The upgraded system is easier to read, and loads more quickly with each input. Members using iPhone or iPad will also be glad to know that besides the simplified interface for mobile devices, the graphical user interface now works on these devices.

New location opened: Upper Boon Keng Road
A new location has opened at Upper Boon Keng Road, Blk 5 MSCP Deck 6 S380005. Just across the road from Kallang MRT, it's a very convenient pick up location for members living in the area. This location has 2 cars.

While we prepare the locations to deploy these brand new cars, they are available to our members for a week use ("Standby Package").The new Toyota Vios comes equipped with comfortable leather seats, cooling solar sun film, air-bags and the anti-lock braking system (ABS) which used to be a feature only found in high-end European makes. Starting from $380* a week, members can book the new Vios through the Member's Corner.

New price structure announced
We have published our new price structure today! Time-charges are now generally lower, and does not include free kilometres. Members will find that it costs less to drive longer distances or to hold on to a car without driving it. Take a look at the re-structured price plans.

Price structure to be updated on 1 Nov 2011
Car Club shall be revising our price-structure from 1 Nov 2011.
Features of new price-structure:
1. Free KM will no longer be bundled with time-charge – save money if you usually drive less than the current free Km;
2. Lower km charges allows you to drive longer distances. Fuel will continue to be included.
3. Lower time charges will reduce the ‘holding cost’ of a shared car when at a long meeting or visiting a friend. It will also cost less in case you need to cancel a booking;
4. Easier to understand and estimate usage costs.
5. In line with global car-sharing pricing format. This makes it easier and more cost-effective to adopt new car-sharing technology .
In addition, the Valueshare Plan will be renamed Value Plan. In Value Plan, time charges are denominated in ValuePoints instead of dollars.
New members who wish to join the Value Plan are required to make a prepayment of $300 for 300 ValuePoints valid for up to 4 months. The full price details will be released shortly.
