1. Will I be able to get a car when I need one?
The reservation success rates are 90% on weekdays and 80% on weekends/public holidays if you book 24 hours in advance.
2. Can I drive a Car Club car to West Malaysia?
Yes you can but you need to provide Car Car Club with 3 days advance notice. There is a surcharge of 50% on the time rates. Please also note that the Groups C and U vehicles are not allowed to be driven into Malaysia.
3. How far in advance or how short a time can I make reservation for the car?
You can make car reservations from just 15 minutes before your use to one (1) month in advance. There is always a car in the fleet ready for you.
4. How do I collect a car?
Car Club uses 2 easy-to-use automated systems to release the car 24/7 to you.

5. I live in Tampines. Can I use a Car Club car at other locations?
You can collect and use a car at any Car Club location in the list below.
6. Can I pick up the car from one location and returned it at a different location?
No. You must return the car to the same collection location after your use.
Insurance
7. Is motor insurance included?
Yes, all Car Club's vehicle are covered by motor insurance provided the driver has not breached the terms and conditions of use.
Examples of breach are drunk driving or allowing an unauthorised person to drive the Car Club vehicle.
While driving
8. What should I do if I were to be involved in a traffic accident?
If you are involved in an accident, please call our hotline at 6788 1511 . Our hotline staff will access the situation and advise you on the appropriate measures to take.
9. While driving, I run over a nail and have a flat tire. What should I do?
All our cars come with a spare tyre, use it to replace the flat tire and drive to the nearest tire shop to have the punctured tire mended. If you choose not to have the punctured tire mended, please informed the hotline staff of the puncture tire so that we can arrange for a staff to fix it.
If you are not able to fix the tire, our hotline staff will arrange a recovery truck to help you. The service cost of the recovery truck will be borne by you.
10. I left the headlights switched on for hours and now the battery is flat.

11. Do I need to refuel the petrol after my car use?
It is only mandatory to refuel the tank if the fuel gauge is at 1/4 level or less at the end of your reservation. You can go to any ESSO petrol station and use the Esso Speedpass tag attached to the car key to refuel the car tank.
You are not required to pay for the refuelling as the petrol cost is automatically charged to Car Club.
Others
12. Can I let someone else drive a Car Club car?
Membership and privileges are NOT transferable. Use of a Car Club car by an unauthorised driver is a serious violation of the Terms and Conditions of Membership.
13. I have lost my smartpass? What can I do?
Please report your lost smartpass to our Admin Office immediately at 68487900. We will bar the usage of the lost smartpass and send a new smartpass to you. There is a replacement fee of $25.00 .
